courtenay (910.2 days ago) my daughter can drink out of cups just fine and shes 10 months. shes been able to drink out of a regular cup since she was about7 months.
thebigtomato (910.2 days ago) My little guy mostly drinks from his sippy, but he is able to drink from a cup very well now and does it with supervision at least once a day. Sometimes he gets distracted though and dumps it everywhere so we have a water only policy right now.
RowanSkysMom (910.2 days ago) My daughter is a pro at it now. She just turned 20 months. Bye bye sippy cups!
hannahe (910.2 days ago) i think more the problem is that i dont want to clean up spilled juice/milk whatever so i opt for the sippy or straw even with my 3 year old who is perfectly capable of drinking out of a cup :)
t555rm (910.3 days ago) He could drink from a cup at 6 months but only if someone holds it for him. Of course I never tried giving it to him then coz of the very high chance that be would flung it across the room LOL. He uses a sippy now and I`ll probably only give him a regular cup when he`s 2-3.
robing (910.3 days ago) Without a lid and self drink ith without assistance?? 3 years old for all :) can they do it sooner, sure but there are way to many spills to find it worth it to give it without a lid. All kids in my family had sippies cups with lids til at least 3 years old occassionally around 2.5 they would have acup without a lid at the table but that was rare. Lids are great, and keep the area clean so no need to rush it in my opinion :)
mikey and cjs mommy (910.3 days ago) mine was able to drink out of a cup at about 11-12months....but with us holding it. now at 16 months....he can hold it himself but 98% of the time it ends up all over him or hu chugs it too fast and ends up coughing for a couple mins. haha
andriette and christians mummy liz (910.3 days ago) Uhm this probs doesnt count but my dd loves to drink out of a cup and glass and she is 7 months today.
