loribb (909.6 days ago) My 9 mo has eczema and I`m suspecting allergies as well. Her dermatologist gave me a mild cortisone cream for her face (1%) the stuff you can get over the counter (At least here in Canada) is 0.5%. I would say it is safe for you to apply some under you dd eyes. EditDelete

soon2be3 (909.7 days ago) Definately go for testing. My daughter had a perpetual rash or redness around her mouth. It wasn`t until she was about 3 years old that our pedi finally told us it was allergy related. He prescribed hydrocortizone (spelling) and an antibiotic (was showing signs of infection). Now, anytime she gets a flare up, we use a little cream and it is gone within a day or so. Almost every picture of our little girl from the time she was a few months old to 3 shows the redness. Poor thing! EditDelete
nmck (909.7 days ago) Babies can have benadryl after 6 months of age. But I do not think you want to be giving it to her all the time. You should call your pediatrician and ask to have some allergy testing done. It is done by simple blood test now. If the results come back positive for allergies, they will either advise you on how to treat it or send you to an allergist. My son takes singulair every day. 4mg. EditDelete
