If you are at home and he is at work, how can he control you? I think, either way.. Go to work, less time with baby and more freedom for you OR (what I might do) stay home and do whatever you want while he`s gone. Invite girl friends over, go to the pool or park. I`d tell him to `bite my crank` if he said anything but, that is ME. Good luck, girl.

We have a joint account so this allowance business wouldn`t apply, but I would stand up to this controlling business. You are an individual, you should be able to do what you like. Not being able to stay home with your baby because your husband wouldn`t let you have a life is something that needs to be addressed in my opinion.

I agree in your case I would work. If it were me I would opt to take the 400/month form DH. :) I`m the type that like to stay home go for walks, non of my `friends` have kids, so really we have nothing in comon, So I think that`s where we are different. I don`t care about my `friends`. :) I agre if your happy your baby`s happy. I can`t wait to be a SAHM 3 more weeks! But I won`t be getting 400/month lol just the satisfaction of being woth my kids all day everyday. I can`t wait. Good luck with your decision

I would work in this case for sure. It will make you a happier person and in turn make your baby a happier person. You will still get to be with your baby tons.

Ok my daughter is 4 months old. Her daddy said he would give me 400 a month just to stay home and take care of her and the house. That icludes me payinf for formula, diapers, etc. BUt he is a controll freak. I cant really do anything at all. Would u rather have no life, or have someone watch ur baby 3 days a week? and get to see friends atleast at work and make about 1,000 a month?
