I only waited till my poeriod was over, and I felt better so it was about 3 weeks :]

we tried at four weeks, only lasted about 5 mins because I ended up in pain, we then waited till 6 weeks and it was fine. I also had a c section

I waited maybe 3 weeks after the first two, the last one was around 8 weeks...maybe longer. :)

With my oldest I was a single mother so I waited until he was about 11 months old before I even started dating again, and it was another few months after that when I finally had sex again it was TORTURE!!! With my second we waited 6 weeks, with the third I think that was also about 6 weeks, 4th it was around 3 1/2 weeks, and with the fifth it was almost 5 weeks. Never really had any problems with it being uncomfortable. I LOVE sex with my husband, it`s the greatest!!! Also, I have a high sex drive.... Would have been sooner, if I could've had my way, but Jack wont do anything if I'm bleeding. :(

4 days with the 1st, 2.5 weeks with the 2nd, and 2 weeks to the day with the 3rd. I have no patience for not getting any and if I DID wait that long, Id get cranky and start twitching =S

Maybe 3 weeks after c sec i could not wait any longer. Do you notice that the c sec really did not lose there sex drive or is it just me thinking that way. BUT WITH A CONDOM SO TO AVOID INFECTION!

i waited longer. i was not in the mood. =p i was too tired i didnt get back into the swing of things until i returned to work and even then i was just too tired between taking care of home and baby and working 2 jobs. maybe it will be different this time around since im a SAHM now =)

We waited about 4 weeks, I was done bleeding and I didn`t tear so no stiches, but it didn`t feel so great the first few times. LOL

My doc told me the wait is because of the chance of uterine infection after birth - no matter whether you had a vaginal or csection birth. Frankly I had no interest in sex at that time anyway, so it really wasn`t a big deal.

Well i stopped my pp bleeding at 4 weeks pp and right after started my first period which lasted bout 2 weeks,so it was bout 6 weeks.Who wants to have sex when ur bleeding down there!!Eek

kylaleigh....because I was just too sore and not in the mood. Other things I was told to wait 8 weeks so I told hubby we`re waiting that long for sex too!

No, about 3-4 weeks with my 1st c-section....I am 31 weeks now with #2, and I might wait a little longer with this one!

try 6 months! lol - hubby was deployed but I think even if he had been home the thought of sex made me want to throw up until about 4-5 months PP.

I waited more than 6wks with all of them even though I had the desire. I had a c-section and waited for the all clear.

6 weeks for me. (I had a c-section and was told the standard 6 weeks.) BTW you might get more of a response if you put a yes/no option for your poll...just a friendly thought.

monkeymamma.. why the 8 weeks? I had my 3rd c-section and a tubal.. am I supposed to wait the 8 weeks too?? lol I`ll die!

i waited about 7 weeks. i had a vaginal delivery but i had to get cut all the way down and stitched back up so i was worried about tearing my stitches. even after 7 weeks it hurt and was so uncomfortable to have sex. it took probably 2 months before it started to feel remotely good again.
