andriette and christians mummy liz (907.8 days ago) A bottle carrier, infant dresses(rides up),baby carrier, baby bath its totaly inpractical coz its too small, bottle warmer, baby powder, shoes.Thats bout it.I cant live w/out her walker, highchair that attaches to the side of the kitchen table, playgym, baby spoons,we bought a chest of drawers/changing table/tub and it is great for everything,we bought it for the storage, pacifiers, bins, long onesies that closes the feet.
hannahe (907.9 days ago) haha the travel warmer! ya it sounded like a necessity right. takes forever, you might as well just hold the bottle till it heats up! wipe warmer was dumb too. pacifier thermometer, also sounds like a genious idea but it didnt work. bibs seems to be a common one too. mine both hated any kind of baby carrier, i had slings and backpack style kind and kangaroo pouch ones, you name it i tried it and they hated it.
nikkipearl (907.9 days ago) The baby bath tub...and his Play Pen...and deffinitly the Change table, Kaleb started turning over so early that it was impossilble to change him on it...so all I use it for is storage!!
jessica (908 days ago) I bought a travel bottle warmer too and ended up giving it away a year after my daughter was born and it was still in the box..Oh and my baby bijorn i never used i just carried her everywhere but my husband has used it once with this baby
pooka (908.3 days ago) Vaseline, baby powder, cotton swabs, I barely used receiving blankets and had a ton (think cause of breast feeding) my son hated his swing refused to be in it at all. Shoes! I had tons and he hated them all and they were too hard to get on I opted to use soft slippers and socks. Baby safe forks and those plates that stick on the tray of your highchair (soooo useless) He just uses normal silver wear although I LOVED the nubby brand temperature spoons for me feeding him. I use bibs like crazy now that he is demanding to feed himself. Those small burp cloths are completely useless, the sort of peanut shaped ones. Baby hats I had tons and barely used any. Safe feeders, the net feeders they seemed so cool but were not extremely useful and REALLY hard to clean. His bumbo, spend $70 on that damn thing and he used it less then 5 times.
jas1987 (908.3 days ago) I spent thousands of dollars on my first baby and he is nearly 10 months, and there is alot of stuff he hasn`t used, like clothes he never wore, i sold them on ebay, lots of bedding, and he`s not even sleeping in his cot yet... toys, i still have toys in boxes un opened, also toys i did open and still haven`t been played with that are in his toy box... a nappy wrapper bin un used, his rocking glider chair and ottoman never used and cost me $600 just for the chair... his jumperoo he used a couple of times but wasn`t really interested in it. we also bought a bottle warmer for the car used it once but took over an hour to heat the bottle up, so it got lost somewhere.. there`s just so much un used stuff i can`t even name it all...
CarolinaBaby1 (908.3 days ago) Wipes warmer, bottle warmer, all them damn bibs, his bath. I use the bath a little but I`ve been putting him in the shower with me since he was a month old. We got pretty good use out his playpen/bassinet. It houses his toys and what nots right now. We still use the changer that came on it. He`s gettin too long for it but oh well. The cheap stuff people bought. I was too scared to use CVS brand wipes, lol. We still have the big bottle of baby lotion we bought. It breaks his skin out so I use it on myself from time to time. Oh yeah, the sleep time wash and lotion set was a waste because it didn`t work one bit. And I hate the smell. Too strong for my nose.
tawnsawyer (908.4 days ago) Loved her bumbo. Hated her bouncer. I use soo many bibs! lol i guess mu daughter is just a mess! oh yeah & i got a damn bottle warmer too... only to realize that bottle warmers and playtes drop ins dont mix =/ and i wasted lots of money on cute pacifiers cus my lil stinker just isn`t too fond of the whole `sucking` thing... she grew out of that by 1 months...
mdbabyno1 (908.4 days ago) Gosh the things that you really don`t need... the bumbo seat(my LO only used a handful of times), the swing was a complete waste of money because she hated it but loved my firends swing (weird, I know), bibs(got tons and never really used them), diaper genie is a waste(just throw it in the trash!), that is all I can think of right now
yorkc39 (908.4 days ago) what`s with the diaper genie thing? I got a cheaper diaper pail that you can put diapers in and it has a closed lid, but I think it was cheaper than the diaper genie, and you just put regular trash bags in. I don`t get it, am I missing something?
luvbeingamom (908.4 days ago) the diaper pail genie thing, bottle warmers (for the car and the house), the bottles (ended up being able to bf until 15months), manual breast pump and the 2 books i bought and haven`t cracked a spine yet!
yorkc39 (908.4 days ago) you will use the bibs in the future, trust me. I used towels in the beginning, but am now using bibs (she`s 9 months) I use soo many. Someone gave me a wipes warmer which obviously I never used, lol, and my mom got me a bouncer for the door and she didn`t care for that too well. I basically knew what I needed but some people got me crap I wouldn`t use
honghuzhenni (908.4 days ago) I found some things I didn`t use at all in the beginning, but used it later on. Our travel bottle warmer, actually is something we recently bought (LO is 11 months), and it was a lifesaver on our recent 11 hour car trip. I didn`t know about the baby shoes and how they couldn`t have hard soles until they could walk, so that was a waste. And we stocked up on diaper rash cream only to use it ONCE in almost a year. That`s a good thing, I guess. Our travel system stroller is so big, it`s a real hassle. (we live down a hill, so to go out ANYWHERE I have to push it up the hill) We prefer the way cheaper umbrella stroller, but that might change when she gets bigger maybe. Our daughter also doesn`t like pacifiers, only used them for about a month or two. It`s hard to know what they`ll like or not like, someone can give you advice but each baby is different. :)
robing (908.4 days ago) I didnt buy shoes but was given them and never used them since they arent good to use til after they are walking, bottle warmer, daiper gene
Khloes Mommy (908.4 days ago) Oh yeah and this dumb egg that you plug in & it gives the temp & a smiley or sad face depending on what the temp is in your house to tell you if it`s too hot or cold for baby. It was never right & a complete waste of money!
Khloes Mommy (908.5 days ago) Let`s see: baby powder (TONS NEVER OPENED! Atleast 6 containers), Lots of clothes & shoes, we stocked up on the butt paste brand of butt cream & it didn`t work for her the only thing we can use on her bottom is desitin so we have lots of that, & oddly enough bibs. I had a ton of bibs for her and we rarely used them so far (7 months).
blondie9504 (908.5 days ago) So far, nothing. She doesn`t care for the bouncer though. She LOVES the swing, it is by far the best thing I have bought. I tried not to buy a bunch of stuff except the crib, swing, bouncer, diapers, wipes and the travel system (somehow I ended up with more clothes than I know what to do with because everyone keeps buying them for her)
