california-mom (89 days ago) Both. My house has to be spotless. But I always hold my baby til she falls asleep, as I did my other 2 kids, Im a huge cuddler, and active `player` on the floor with them =) Nap time, outside play time, or at 6am is when I get all the cleaning done.
loribb (89.1 days ago) Lou-li, I know what you mean. I don`t have twins to deal with, but we live in a small two bedroom apartment. It doesn`t take much to make the place cluttered.
loribb (89.1 days ago) I`m a firm believer in the statement: `My house is clean enough for my kids to be healthy, and messy enough for my kids to be happy`
hillaryandmikesbaby (89.1 days ago) i just watched something on tv today and this lady said `moms eventually realize somethings gotta give, whether it be the house being cleaned or staying close with friends, or anything of the sort... most moms just realize the house will get cleaned when it gets cleaned`
Lou-Li (89.1 days ago) So funny u should put this poll up today of all days, when I am really feeling everything is on top of me!! I cannot STAND the mess!!! I have 16-month-old twins, and each meal is havoc, and the house is small so the mess is EVERYWHERE!!! I do make myself calm down though, and just bring them out to play and forget the mess, (right now they are on the deck playing in their bathtubs in my view), but sometimes I do just freak out and wish I could have the place clean and tidy once and for all. They go through soooo many clothes in one day, and bibs, wipe-cloths, I have SO much washing! I hate to say it but I do sometimes wish we could get beyond this messy stage!!! but I think it lasts years!
