california-mom (903.5 days ago) Spotless. I make it a priority.
andriette and christians mummy liz (903.6 days ago) My house is decent,i keep on top of doing dishes, washing clothes, making the bed.But theres my cupboard which is a pigsty lol.But my hubby grew up in a spotless house,my mil is almost like a obbsesive cleaner and im not like that, she doesnt have a life exepct cleaning constantly,my mum is also a clean freak but shes not that bad,she wont get mad at me when they come visit and i dont have a chance to do the dishes, where mil will.Hence my hubby thinks i have time to springclean everday.
RobinG (903.7 days ago) I have what I call an `organized mess` lol. It is messy cause I am busy with kids, therapy, sports, etc etc but it isnt dirty.
kylaleigh (903.7 days ago) my house is never `dirty` but sure is messy!!!
mummyyumyum (903.7 days ago) At the moment my house is a complete pigsty but thats only because I am in the middle of moving house and so there are boxes of everything everywhere which I am finding stressfull. I used to have obsessive compulsive disorder, so for me I have to be careful of how much I clean, I kind of need a little mess to keep me sane lol cos if I start cleaning to much I can very easily get obssesive with it. I have 2 girls and one on the way, so I dont ever feel terrible for not having a spotless house but I do like it to be clean, and when it is clean I do feel more able to relax and enjoy my home x
happyforest (903.7 days ago) depends on the day and what you are comparing it to! compared to our last apartment, our new one is spotless!! compared to my MIL`S perfectly neat house, it is a mess! lol but for us it is really clean. i just go after my fiance and baby all day and clean up the mess they make as i go and if im lucky then everything stays clean.but on my off days when i sit around and do nothing it will pile up before i know it!
Jamiee (903.7 days ago) All about organization. The littler the baby the more stuff you have and then as they get bigger the stuff just changes. Its always there though!! A big contributor to messes is lack of place to put things so invest in bins and shelves and cubbies where toys can be placed. This makes cleaning up much easier instead of just piling things in available corners. Also keep things you need accessible. When my son was born we had a canvas bin in every room filled with diapers, wipes, burp cloths and diaper rash cream. Very convenient! Oh and ROTATE ROTATE ROTATE! We never have more than a few toys out at a time, otherwise kids get overwhelmed (especially young kids). If you get a bunch of older toys for Xmas or birthdays, put them in storage until the child is ready for them. Cuts down on clutter of stuff that isnt used and the toys are all new again when they are brought back out.
nutnut (903.8 days ago) my house has its moments. its cluttered and small, and i have a hard time saying no when ppl give me their junk. i have alot of stuff all over the place, no closet space at all so what can i do? its not dirty as in food all over the place, or whatver. but you cant find my kitche table under the laundry basket and kid`s toys and stuff. its bad now bc of summer and not being home alot. (been doing alot with my daughter this year bc of the baby coming in jan.)but school started today i should have more time now to get things picked up. i hate living in the clutter but my landlord will charge me if i throw stuff out. were only allowed 4 kitchen sized trash bags a week. we cant throw out any bulk either. its not cheap it costs 50.00 to throw out one box spring, or one stool. i dont have that kind of money so the stuff sits in my house
