armymom (902.6 days ago) breastfed or formula fed.. it doesn`t matter. Sleep has nothing to do with where their milk comes from. My son was breastfed for 7 months and he was sleeping through the night (11-12 hours) at 5 months. He was fully BF until 7 months so I honestly don`t think that has anything to do with their sleep patterns. My best friend has a boy my son`s age (10 months) and he still wakes up 2-3 times throughout the night and has been formula fed since 6 months old. Babies do things on their own time... you can try sleep training but at this age (12 months) it`s hard to `train` them to sleep because they know how to manipulate you and know what it takes to get mommy`s attention by now.
courtenay (902.6 days ago) totally normal!! and im sure you are going to hear lots of stories about people whos babys slept through the night from birth or whatever but it is actually more common to not sleep through the night until a later age. and if it makes you feel better, my daughter is 10 and a half months and does not sleep through the whole night.
mikey and cjs mommy (902.6 days ago) my son is 16months old and STILL wakes up 2-3times a night on his BEST nights!!! i have tried everything and talked to multiple dr`s. they all say he will sleep when he is ready too and will just start one day. ya right!!!!!
pc (902.6 days ago) My son did not sleep through the night until he was about 2 1/2. Before then, he would wake up one or twice at night, and walk to my room. I would walk him back to his room and lay him down, and he`d go right back to sleep.
jennii (902.6 days ago) yeah i am too LOL so yes i do that same thing but hes breastfeed and formula i know keeps babies fuller longer..thank you for your answer :)
