Jeans and color in cold water but if you wash your whites in hot water they get alot cleaner

I have recently started separating towels, haha just because its nice to have an entire load of easy to fold laundry. All of my son`s clothes are still separated too.I will also sometimes sep. my fiances work clothes if they are really gross. He works in a restuarant and it is almost impossible to get that food smell out. I only use cold water, I don`t even think our hot water is hooked up to the washer at this house...we knew would never use it.

Whites, towels, darks, sheets, baby clothes...all seperated and all done with cold water...except SO work clothes are done compeltely seperate with hot water. I also use the Kirkland liquid soap (for everything)

I wash/rinse on cold and use tea tree laundry products. I usually try to separate out towels, sheets, etc.. lights and darks. If I feel extremely organized I do it by person but not always.

LOL! We have `my laundry` and `your laundry` (that`s husband`s laundry). We each do our own laundry, and no one gets hurt. I tend to use "cold" all the time, unless there's dog poop on something. Then I use "hot" and bleach too.

I wash everything in cold water and use only half or less of the recommended amount of detergent. I only separate out things that are very expensive and white or light colored. If you use hot water to kill germs, it doesn`t actually work. What really kills germs in your laundry is the high heat of the dryer or drying them in direct sunlight on a line. So that`s why I never use hot or warm water since the hot water actually makes most stains worse.

Unless it is red and dark black, lol, I mix any color and wash whites with lights seperate. When I pull them out of dryer I have a laundry basket for each of us. I fold it and place in the appropriate basket so all they have to do is grab and put away. And it makes it easier if I fall behind on putting it away they can easily find their basket and sort through it to find what they need :) I wash with peroxide too as a great whitner. All clothes are washed on warm.

three seperations: darks, lights, and towels/sheets. I always wash in cold water.

I tend to use warm water for all my laundry and hot for towels or sheets. I seperate colors/blacks and whites. I usually do a seperate load with towels and sheets though.

I separate it and I wash most things in cold water unless it`s whites then I use hot. I also dry on low temps too so I don`t shrink everything.
