pc (901.5 days ago) Fisrt son stopped at 3 months old and it was an easy transition. My second son is 8 months and I am having the hardest time in weaning him off. I wish I would have stopped sooner so the weaning him off wasn`t so hard on both of us.
gemmasmummy (901.8 days ago) 2 month it was the most heart breaking thing I ever had to do, my relationship with my daughters father was extremly stressfull and due to this my milk lost nutrion and she wasn`t gaining weight this broke my heart and I felt like I failed her I really enjoyed bf I wish I could have continued :(
happyforest (901.9 days ago) 2 1/2 months, i dried up, so thats how i did it. it wasnt voluntary, so there was no weaning or anything like that
jekajoy (902 days ago) I weaned Natalie at 10 months. We went from nursing 4 times a day to just morning and bedtime. Eventually I went to just bedtime (so every 24 hrs). Then I did every 36 hrs and then every other bedtime. No pain whatsoever and Natalie didn`t even miss it.
butterblocksmom (902 days ago) 6 months and it WAS hard because I wanted to go longer but I didn`t produce enough milk. I was very sad. I took medication to stimulate lactation but once he had formula from a bottle....he didn`t care to work hard at the breast when he could get it so easily from the bottle.. I felt like a bad mom and a bit of a failure!
california-mom (902 days ago) 2 years, 19 month (he was done), and still am with this baby at 7 months...I will til at least a year and a half MINIMUM. My first was very hard to wean as she was kind of a sickly kid, my 2nd kind of stopped on his own =)
