Dannie (901 days ago) I must be out of the loop completely, because I have no idea what EC stands for- anyone care to clue me in? Sounds intriguing. EditDelete
thebigtomato (901 days ago) I have changed my mind about things, but I don`t think it is because of this site and more because thinking about parenting theoretically is much different than actually doing it. For example, I was a HUGE proponent of breastfeeding through the first year, but it only took me six weeks to change my mind about that. I used the think it was demeaning to put a child on a leash. I haven`t done it myself YET, but I totally see the appeal now that I have a baby that takes off as soon as you set him down but FREAKS OUT when you try to carry him. I think I`ve just become more laid back in my opinions and I think that part of it is the more experienced company I keep on here and part of it is just actually experiencing something rather than imagining it. luvin Colton (901 days ago) someone helped changed my mind on whether to circumsize (sp?) or not EditDelete
nutnut (901 days ago) same EC, i am considering trying this. i remember alot of the stuggles potty training my daughter (she wasnt fully potty trained until 4 bc of her delays). so while the idea EC was crazy to me at first, I have been seriously considering it. Im not one to change my mind on things either. Also, making my own baby food, now that I know its not very difficult I am looking to make better healthier foods for my baby. Im still not doing cloth diapers. I just cant. The whole idea grosses me out (sorry its just like a phobia/germ thing with me, which is probably unfounded but it is what it is with me.) EditDelete
LKLmama (901.1 days ago) I remember just 6 months ago when I would talk about BLW on this site people in the polls said I was putting my daughter in danger, I was forcing her to grow up too fast, they make baby food for a reason, that it was NOT SAFE and they urged people NOT to listen to me! :) EditDelete
nmck (901.2 days ago) I have learned a lot, and followed examples of many of the Mommies in my month. EditDelete
armymom (901.2 days ago) NO, but I`ve learned ALOT about stuff I never would have even thought of on my own. EditDelete
lovemyfamily (901.3 days ago) I have changed my mind about baby led weaning...well sort f I had never heard about it before I used this site! I am very happy to have done it with my daughter as she loved it! I have also at 7 (now 8 months) been potty training my daughter and recently just switched to cloth diapering :) EditDelete
Aiona (901.4 days ago) I don`t know if it`s a `really big decision` or not, but yes, christinawar changed my mind about using all-in-ones versus prefolds. I was completely scared of prefolds before her lovely weblog post with pictures on how to use them. It`s not as confusing as I thought! The baby leash discussions have also got me thinking as well. I`m still not sure which way I lean, but it definitely made me rethink about their uses. I`m sure there are other topics, but I can`t think of them right now. (cheekybee, is that why I never saw your post about cloth wipes?) EditDelete
