Once my water broke (actually leaked) in the shower..I heard a pop in the shower and when I got out I felt a little wet..an hour later my panties were soaked...changed and kept saoking so I figured my water must be breaking...slowly...It was!

mine randomly broke on the toilet after i had went to the bathroom! it was also my daughters due date:) i had absolutely no idea it was coming..by the time we got to the hospital, i still hadn`t progressed from the week before when they checked me, and nothing was going on ...so a little bit later they started me on pitocin to get the contractions going! and boy did they:)

mine broke with all three of my pregnancies. If I were to go into active labor with this one without my water breaking first, I might not really know I am in labor until it is too late...

With my first my water broke while sitting in Taco Bell...lol

Yes my water broke before contractions and it sucked! I wish I would of gotten contractions first. I wasn`t allowed to walk around during labor because my water had broken already. And that was one of the major reasons why I got the epidural.

Only with my first. Water broke and I went into labor within 3 hours.

I was having contractions but nothing too regular, then my water broke and BAM the contractions came fast and hard. I had my daughter within an hr and 20mins of getting to the hospital.

My water has never broke on its own. No matter how hard my babies kicked , punched ,or pushed it refused to break...lol

My water broke(but it was only leaking a little at a time)at 1am and I was having NO contractions. My contractions started about an hour or two after that. When I got to the hospital at about 4am my water gushed everywhere.

i was having contractions all day, but not constant, and that night, my water started leaking so i went to the doc. they broke my water and induced my labor. :/

my water broke while i was at work and then i drove myself 45 mins to the hospital and my lo came 9 hours later.

My waters broke in the morning on the 11th August, but labour didnt start, i went into hospital on the 12th to check if i was having contractions, i was but wasnt feeling them, and they were irregular. So i chose to be induced, they checked me at around lunch time and i was 2cm dilated, they hooked me up to a drip at around 7.30 pm and i laboured, pushed for five hours, had ventouse, then forceps, before the surgeon examined me internally and found that i have scar tissue from an operation i had as a child and that the baby wouldnt get past it, and ended up with an emergency c-section. My baby was delivered at 5.39 am on the 13th :)

My water didn`t break naturally until she was almost crowning. I was pushing her out with the bag of waters. Supposedly, I got lucky `cause it`s less painful that way. Honestly, I never felt an incredible urge to push ... I just pushed whenever I felt a contraction.

My water broke 8 hrs after starting the induction process. I don`t know if that`s considered on my own or not.
