Mcbender3 (895.4 days ago) Hi. What concerns do you have?
My son has moderate autism (not asbergers, but AUTISM) He also has tactile disorder as well as sensory issues. He does stim alot as running back and forth, arm flapping, shaking head, and drolling. As well as abusive, hitting, bitting, kicking and smacking. We have 36 hours a week of therapy (3hrs bsc, 30 hrs tss, 1 hr speech, 1 hr OT and 1 hour of play therapist. He chews on everything like his shirt, fingers and crayons and such that are NOT edible. We go into stores or outside, he is very difent.. does not respond to name and is just overall out of hand. Very calm at home most of the time because he finds ways to do OCD behaviors and such but I redirect him and get abused.. i have learned that redirecting is a pain and I can`t do it all the time, however try to keep up with it. It`s hard but we are doing vitamins/supplements as well as GFCF diet and he used to have PURE diaherria for three months straight but I corrected that by removing every and anything with milk. Take a look at my blogs. If you need any help or to vent... i am here! =]
Also I may not be on here everyday but do check my email:

RobinG (897.2 days ago) My son Hunter is mildly autistic ~ one of his concrens is sensory integration disorder AKA sensorty dysfunction disorder. It is something we face every day on various degrees and levels. My oldest is ADD and has sensory issues too. What concerns are you having? There is a GREAT book called Your out of sync child that is awesome for someone dealing with SDD. EditDelete
