MILITARY~MOMMY (896.3 days ago) My daughter is 16 months, and I used to watch like a hawk, now I don`t care if she grabs handfuls of dirt or grass, she knows not to eat it. But rocks, well, if she can get away with it she will lick it, put it down, find another rock, lick it, and so on! So now we are working on no rocks either, but I love that she runs around in the yard and has no fear.
t555rm (896.3 days ago) My son is always out in our backyard. It`s not grass but wood and he`s forever playing with the garden soil in out flower bed. I let him explore but always supervised. I don`t let him eat any of it but he`s allowed to touch and feel mud and dry leaves that fall...when we go inside I just make sure to wash his little hands.
yorkc39 (896.4 days ago) oh nutnut that`s so gross, i`d be a little paranoid too!
armymom (896.4 days ago) I try not to let him eat TOO much but you can`t keep it from happening 100%. Now that he`s more into walking he just wants to push the stroller and ride his mini ATV in the driveway so I don`t have to deal with grass eating much these days. I ate grass and flowers all day long when I was a little girl.. lol
nutnut (896.4 days ago) when my daughter was small, i wouldnt let her sit on the grass. i always had a huge king size blanket on the ground lol. i was paranoid of her eating bugs bc when my cousin was little he was on the grass eating crickets! yuck!! then when my aunt realized she went to tell him nonono! and he broke the cricket in half and tried to feed her some to share.. omg sooo gross. so no im so paranoid i never let my little girl on the naked grass! lol
