My MIL is OK. She drives me nuts sometimes b/c she is chaotic and can`t follow a plan. A couple weeks ago, she was supposed to get here by 4 pm in order to visit with our son before dinner and bed. She came at 5:30! Also, no matter how much money she is willing to spend on baby clothes, she can`t buy good taste!! But she is much better than a lot of MILs I hear about on here.

As my mum lives about 200 miles away my MIL has really stepped up, she is always there for me. If ever I argue with DH she always takes me side. She is fantastic kids and is such a laugh. Also all 3 SIL are brilliant. I am very lucky

I tolerate my hubby`s mom but hate his biological mother. She`s not in his life, rarely his been and that`s a great thing from what he`s told me.

My MIL is evil! No one in the family can stand her. She is getting another divorce, everyone thinks she is nuts, and my hubby wont hardly speak to her.

I don`t know my MIL from this marriage very well since they live across the country but she is pretty nice. My ex MIL from my first marriage is awesome and we still talk a lot. She actually lend us the down payment for our house (mine and current husbands) shes a terrific lady and even though only one of my children is blood related they are all three (soon to be four) her grandchildren.

Am somewhere between yr third and fourth option. I`ve actually known my mil since the day I was born LOL. We were neighbors and I was friends with her daughter. When my mom fell ill and dad was at work , it was she who took care of me, dressed me for school etc. But I definitely don`t like her as much I do my mom. Now that am married to her son, it`s a different relationship. I`ve gotten to know her a lot more and she`s great and all that but sometimes we disagree on a lot of things. It`s my fil that gets on my last nerve! Ughh.

my MIL lives 3000 miles away so i only see her like once a year, but i really like her and i wish she was able to come around more, same with my SIL cuz shes a few months older than me

I wouldn`t say I love her AS MUCH as my own mom, but I do love her very much. My mom passed away when I was 17, so I guess my MIL kinda fills that void a little bit.

  7. I`m at 19 weeks, and just had my 20 week ultrasound a week early (thank you THANKSGIVING!!), am overjoyed to find out everything is A OK BUT I have `marginal Placenta previa` my midwife says she`s NOT concerned and that it will VERY VERY VERY likely move up on its own and I can deliver naturally and vaginally as planned, if not I have to have the dreaded C-section. Which i`m SO terrified over I get into a panic every time i think about it. So, my question is: Has anyone here HAD marginal placenta previa and had it move up by the time the baby is born?
