loribb`s poll Show results | Hide results

Baby-poll poll So my 10 month old just started sleeping better at nights and during naps. I`ve been looking forward to this for some time now, I knew it would eventually happen, lol. But now that is happening, I worried that she might be sleeping so much because she is not well. She has no fever or anything, she plays great when she is awake...is it normal to feel like this?

Yes, it's normal, it's a 'mom' thing.
No, it's not normal :o/

the past week or so she has slept from 9:30-7:30, waking once or twice to cuddle for 15 - 20 minutes, (she used to wake for 2 or 3 feedings and be up for 45-60 minutes each time) Then she has a morning nap at around 11 and sleeps until 12:30, then she has an afternoon nap at 3:30 and sleeps until 5:30. So that`s about 13 hours. Her naps used to only be 45 minutes max. And she would have 3 or 4 a day. I hope this is a new sleeping routine, I could get used to it!

Sounds like she has adjusted into a great sleeping routine and I wouldn`t worry- if she isplaying hard and is not lethargic or overly cranky when awake, I would take advantage of the down time and have a little `ME` time myself! How manys naps does she take and how long- how many hours does she sleep at night- I think at 10 months they should be getting around 13-15 hrs of total sleep
