ermsmom (888.2 days ago) For the two little ones I`m going to be making a playhouse for our backyard with the help of my brother. I hope it turns out well! I may get some little people or some arts and crafts stuff for my daughter`s stocking. For my son`s stocking he`ll probably get books or something like that. My step-daughter is the tough one. She`ll be 13 at Christmas and is at the stage where she 1) has basically everything and 2) appreciates nothing. We`ll see what she`s looking for at that point.
kickboxerbaby (888.3 days ago) Ikea sells this great art station that has a chalk board, paint center, dry erase board, and color station all in one easle. Plus as big as it is it`s only $25 they also sell all the extra stuff like paints, chalk, makers and crayons and extra paper refills for really cheap. We are planning on getting one for or 5 year old. She loves art stuff. She also really wants (believe it or not) Hungry Hungry Hippos. Our older daughter will be 8 and she is definately harder to by for. I have no clue what to get her. Right now she`s into funky stuff. And really wants me to dye her hair. (It washes out but I don`t like it) The only toys she wants are more games for her wii or playstation 3. I hate gaming systems.

ibaheir2dathrone (888.4 days ago) as far as my kiddos this year, I`m a little stumped. They are 11 (dd) and 9 (ds) Sarah will be 1 by then. I am thinking about a `Teen Box` for my ddwho will turn 12 in Jan. I plan on getting her an electric shaver (to nervous to let her shave with a razor, it`s time. She`s getting teased.) a fingernail kit and show her how to take care of her nails (she`s prissy and like to paint them. She`s only allowed clear and clear tints) her own hair straightner, etc. My son will prob. get a skateboard. (not sure yet)
ibaheir2dathrone (888.4 days ago) Do you have a ball pit? (excellent gift!) Are they girls or boys? My daughter loved kitchen sets and pretend food. That age is great for dress up too. (i.e. a box with different costumes gender themed, ballet, cinderella, fireman, cowby, football, sports, dresses etc.) also for boys my son LOVED his little tool bench set. (he`s 9 now and has his own toolbox with real tools, drill, screwdrivers, sockets etc. he works alongside daddy.) :o)
pooka (888.4 days ago) my older kids are getting Rock band for either the wii or xbox 360 and a few smaller presents just for them. My one year old is likely getting a spring horse..
nutnut (888.4 days ago) the vsmile is geared for ages 3+ but the 2yr old can play some of the games as well. its a good little gaget imo.
nutnut (888.4 days ago) my daughter is 7 shes totally into pokemon and video games. im tryin to think when she was 5 what we got her. i believe she was really into dora so she got the dora castle and the little sets to go with it. got her some coloring books and crayons, a few reading books and activity books that teach abc`s and 123`s shapes etc. she also got a ds from someone in the family (ugh they started her so early) she got a child learning video game system from my brother which was wonderful. its called a vsmile. she got alot of use out of that. it also teaches them and entertains them. they make a handheld and also one that hooks up to the tv. she`s 7 and still plays with it. she also got new bedding for her big girl bed. one year i got her sleeping bags and a tent she absolutly loved her barbie tent.
board games are a staple, card games too.
she is an only grandbaby atm so lets just say she got so spoiled over the years.
