Str8 As (887.8 days ago) I see most say they live pay check to pay check. Most of us have lived this way at one time or another. If you feel like you can`t save anything, you can. Try to save at least $10. it may not seem like a lot or a lot to some, but it can add up quickly over time. No matter what, do not touch it! I have done it. Actually I started taking all of the $5 bills and putting them away. Granted Im not rich, but I have a pretty penny saved. My husband gets 1 gold coin from his job a week just with the gold coins, we have almost $200. Again, it is not a lot, but it is something for a rainy day. EditDelete
ibaheir2dathrone (887.9 days ago) Same here, we live paycheck to pay check. Hubby`s hrs. being cut took over 3 thousand a year from us. (May not seem like much to you but it does to a family of 5 with one paycheck) EditDelete
canadababy (887.9 days ago) I don`t have a `savings` account, but I do have RRSPs put away, that`s a gov`t supported retirement fund. A really great thing, I don`t know if other countries do it, but it`s locked away until you retire, you pay big penalties if you withdraw it early. And you get a tax credit, so whenever you buy RRSPs you get a good amount back when you do your taxes. I`ve been putting $$ in it since I was 19 and it`s well over $20,000, olus there`s my retirement plan from work (been there 11yrs). Unfortunately my DH doesn`t have either :( EditDelete

RobinG (887.9 days ago) Sadly we live paycheck to pay check and dont have a saving`s ~ its always been that way in our life so it is ok because we`ve never known or lived any different ~ what we bring home pays our bills and gives us enough to enjoy a night or two out but no extra for savings. We hope that once our kids are all in school and I am working more we can then begin to save ~ EditDelete
