I called CPS on a friend of mine a few months ago when she told me she beat her 1 month old baby. I would def press charges because if she is doint that to you what is she doing to her child??? I say go for it.

OK, why did you call CPS on her in the first place? If it is because you suspected she was being violent or neglectful to her child, then this should just confirm it. By reporting her to the police you will be adding to the paper trail that will justify removing the child from an unsafe home. If you don`t want to file for yourself, file for the child. And I understand not wanting to talk to the police, you don`t want to escalate this any further, but as you can see from everyone else`s posts, calling the police and filing a report is the only responsible thing you can do. Also, contact CPS and tell them you were attacked by the woman in retaliation for reporting her to them. They will add that to their files, and it should prompt them to take a closer look at her case.

Wow that is a reason right there why she should not have her kids. I had an old friend that isnt my friend ne more but she was using drugs and got her kids taken away and she blew up the social workers car. People are fing psycho. Im sorry that happened to you!! Feel better soon!

i dont know the situation but wouldn`t you do the same thing? if some one called them on me i know i would do what she did. its pretty much flight or fight reaction. pure animal pure natural. i am in no way saying it was right or what you should do b/c like i said i donno what was going on but i just know if i was that mom what i would do. i also know i am a damn good mom and no one has a reason to do so.

She is a really good friend of your family and you dont want to make your family mad? Are they not mad at her for attacking you? At the hospital they did not call the cops? I would be very upset with my family if they did not support me in filing a report. If she attacked you then you need to stand up for yourself. You might be scared but you need a record of it.

yes!! if she is already a bad parent (you called CPS) AND a violent person (attacking you) then the police need to know this also bc she is dangerous for her children

anyone who voted that they would jump you too are total AHOLES..they dont know WHY you called CPS on that girl..... and you should deff file a police report or at least file a restraining order against her..she sounds like a unstable person...sorry that this happened to you!!!!

This is getting ridiculous. If you have to ask if you should call the police after someone attacked you and put you in the hospital, you have other issues going on. Honestly, this sounds a little hard to believe.
