Although fruits and veggies are nutritious - the nutrients in their breastmilk or formula are the very specific types they need for their brains and eyes, etc to develop properly. They need all that iron, dha, omega, whatever else is in the milk and NOT in puree green beans. think of it more as practice then worrying about the quantities. Just make sure he`s getting the recommended amount of milk and then let him tell you (by refusing or fusing, whatever) if he wants other types of food. EditDelete
jacob william nov. 18 2008 (883.8 days ago) My son started eating 3 times a day once he hit 15 lbs. based on your childs weight he should be eating 3 times a day breakfast lunch and dinner. if he will eat a whole jar of food at lunch and dinner let him and in the morning if you give cereal make what you feel is a good amount. If you don`t feed him 3 times a day you will soon find that he will not sleep during the night because he will wake up hungry. EditDelete
