juels101 (879.2 days ago) Yes Jessberr31, I was meaning general clean up, putting things away. Hehe, not sweeping, dusting etc ^_^. Thanks for the comments, I`m trying to figure out when and how much to start the bigger cleaning jobs. EditDelete
california-mom (880.4 days ago) Yes, since he was 1. Same for my now 6 year old daughter. They can learn at a very early age to clean up one mess before begining another =) EditDelete

Str8 As (880.8 days ago) My oldest when she was three would clean her room on her own and still does. My daughter who three years old now does not. She will pick up a few items and then she is done :-(. What is funny is my 19 mo will put toys back and throw paper in the garbage, even if it is not suppose to go in the garbage...go figure EditDelete
jessberr31 (880.8 days ago) My dd will be 4 on monday and if I tell her to pick up her room, then yeah, she`ll go in there and put everything she has out in her toybox. She does a pretty good job too, lol! Now when it comes to cleaning cleaning, as in sweeping, dusting, etc, thats my job. But if your talking about picking up toys/clothes then I don`t think its ever too young to teach them how to tidy up and take on responsibility for their belongings. To me 3/4 isn`t really all that young, them lil stinkers are smart! They do tend to get sidetracked easily at that age though, lol! EditDelete
My5Babies:) (881.1 days ago) no...she `helps` her sisters clean. But to actually clean it by herself, not at all. She will help put toys in the box or whatever, but not actually clean. EditDelete
