let me tell you I was on the depo shot and my Dr forgot to tell me that it was not 99% affective until the 3rd month of getting it, and well i went on with my sex life thinking I couldn`t get pregnant and boom I got pregnant the 2nd month of getting it, then the Dr. tells me oh yeah....it`s not 99% effective until your third dose....well thanks for telling me now I thought, and I had a happy healthy baby

I felt horrible after a shot and never did it again ~ think it contributred to me infertility too ~ I`d never recommend it to anyone ~ hope youfeel better ((hugs))

My cousin got pregnant on the depo shot and she is naturally a big girl. So she kept getting the shots when she was preggo because she had no symptoms and her tummy didnt get big AT ALL so finally 2 weeks before she delivered she was complaining that her stomach hurt and that she thought that she was dying so they took her to the doc and turns out she was pregnant and baby was ready in 2 weeks. Crazy story but true. Now she is 3!!

I was on that horrible shot for 5 years and I took pregnancy tests all the time bacause I felt pregnant. The shot is suppose to tell your body you are pregnant. None the less, I got pregnant on it but I m/c. You can take a test to just make yourself better but you`re probsbly not pregnant. I did take the shot before I left L&D because I had just gone through hell in a hand basket and was not taking any chances lol. I`m getting the Mirena next week before my shot runs out, no more kiddies for me! Good luck :)

Depo is evil and I would never want anyone to be on it. I was on it 2 years...best thing I ever did was go off of it.

what kind of pregnancy symptoms are you having? could just be extreme pms highlighted by your new bc.
