nutnut (876.7 days ago) im just not getting the vaccine. if i were lets say working as a nurse or teacher or someplace i would have a significantly higher chance to contract it, then i would get the vaccine simply bc the benifit would out weigh any risk of the shot IMO. im not anti-anything really. im just uncertain about first generation vaccinations regardless of the media hype. the michael jackson, and the john and kate hype drove me more crazy than the hype over the flu. but, i will say its pretty hard to make any informed decisions when there is so much being written or reported as fact, that are not scientifically true, but rather one person`s bias oppinion on a matter. just like health care reform. the more i watch the more confused i become. sometimes i think thats what the whole point is .. to confuse ppl LOL.
♥ ☼shine (877.1 days ago) That article irritates me. I hate reading or listening to anything slanted in one direction. I prefer to read neutral, fact based information and form my own opinions.
Anything can be skewed to read the way the writer believes. This writer is clearly anti-vaccine and willing to present only the information that substantiates his cause. I hate that. That is not real journalism. But you are right, there is plenty of bad journalists out there.
