bdoe [kaylees mommy!] (179.9 days ago) oh and effectiveness, side effects, etc., all depend on the kind of IUD you get. Good luck!
bdoe [kaylees mommy!] (179.9 days ago) If it is in the correct position and all that, then it should be more effective than the pill and other contraceptives. When I got mine, my OB told me hat they CAN be as effective as having your tubes tied! Obviously you have to have them checked periodically.
avaann (180 days ago) idk - i`m having problems with my iud, though...i kinda want it taken out already. i`m still having discharge-like annoying pregnancy discharge! and now i spot after sex. i donthave `periods` but you just never know when you may spot. kinda irritating. but at least i know i`m protected against getting pregnant more so than just without it so i`m still mixed about it.
blondie9504 (180 days ago) Ohhh...thanks guys, I`m going to get my IUD on the 9th lol. I better not get pregnant again, I already have 1 of my own and 3 stepchildren! I can`t afford any more children but if it happens, it happens I guess. I didn`t want any more than one but my daughter will be 8 weeks old Thursday and I kinda got baby fever already so I`m glad I didn`t go through with the hysterectomy :)
avaann (180 days ago) same as any other form of birth control. Make sure you check often. I`ve a few friends get pregnant with it. I have an IUD in. I still get weary about it...LOL I dont want to fall pregnant again, either, but if it happends it happens...LOL Good Luck!!!!
adriana03 (180 days ago) im not sure about chances or anything but alot of my family has them in. A couple of them have had problems with them moving. so checking is crucial if it moves its worthless.
