Where I live childcare runs between $250 and $350 a week. So that`s roughly $1000 - $$1400 a month. Part time child care is $600 - $900 per month. It sucks. That`s way I am a SHM. We can`t afford for me to work.

My friends pay around 1,500 a month to send their child to daycare- So 465 is a steal!

it depends on where you live. To be in a public daycare near me it is about 200 a week for daycare.

i guess it depends on where you live~ i half of the morgage it less that that...i dont pay for daycare my family keeps her for me.

It depends on where you live. Here it is around $1000 a month...TOTALLY overpriced if you ask me. It sounds like you may have a good deal.

It REALLY depends on where you live :) There have been many polls on this and it has sadly been discovered that some places (like where I live) pay and average of 3.50-5 and hour per child and some places (like my sis in NJ) pay 6-10 an hour per child. I am a daycare provider and what I charge is average ~ 3.75 per hour. Or $135-150 per week per child is average. Some are more some are less.

My friend pays $800 a month, and at my sister;s day care they charge anywhere from $500-1,000 depending on age and how long you`re there so that`s pretty good.
