if you dont want to watch foot ball dont watch football. you dnt force him to do what you want right? everyone needs their own quiet time. i would go nuts if i didnt have it. i would go grocery shopping then walk around window shopping at other stores for a couple hours LOL> id leave DD home with SO and out i went. So was out of work due to surgery for 8 months so i know how it is. some days i felt like i had two kids. i just needed to get out otherwise we would bicker back and forth. its perfectly normal to need your own time, or to want to chat with some friends. if he is still getting hurt by this then maybe you could do something while he`s on the computer. go shopping men hate grocery shopping. im sure if you offer to do it yourself he wouldnt argue. just have him keep the baby with him. tell him youll be alot faster that way and you dnt want to be out all day heh. =)

I`m going through the exact same thing!!!! 24/7 is not a natural thing for a couple. Alone time is a definite must. Maybe go for a short drive somewhere to have some ice cream and read a book?

I know how u feel..my husband took layoff for a month...we are 2gether 24/7 I love him to death..but I need my own time as well with a 8 and 7 y/0 I just really have it..come on monday..lol..but yes u deserve ur own time..just u and no one else..
