Mandy-n-Eoins-Peanut (176.4 days ago) I love Ebay. I`ve never asked for a lower shipment price. Seriously, the price listed is the price you pay. Only time I`ve ever enquired about payment is when I want to ask about buying multiple items and want to know how much the shipment would be for them all...blah blah. Normal enough stuff. Makes you wonder if she`s the type to haggle with shop staff about the price of goods lol. Just because it`s Ebay, doesn`t mean it`s a flea market where you can negotiate. If you don`t recieve payment within the week, file a claim. If she wants the jeans, she`ll pay the agreed price.
brendalee (176.4 days ago) You cant leave negative feedback for buyers, only positive :( It`s ebay`s new policy.
jenakers (176.4 days ago) Shouldn`t have caved but, that`s over now. It is not worth YOU being upset over. Some people are total a-holes and no matter how right you are this is going to cause you more stress over a dollar. Just get the cash, send the jeans and leave her neutral feedback explaining why.
jessberr31 (176.5 days ago) She`s really hassling you over a stupid dollar??!!! What a nut! I`d charge her the $6 too!
secondandexcited (176.5 days ago) I wouldn`t give in!!! Charge her the $6.00....if she can`t afford the extra $1.05 than maybe she shouldn`t be on eBay!!! If she doesn`t pay, then flag her :o)
heathert (176.5 days ago) She probably does this all the time and gets her way! I have never sold anything but have bought some. Do you think she would put a negative mark on you? I have not bought often but I do look at that after being burned from someone from this site over hairbows I spent over 80 dollars on some things and never received them and it went through pay pal. Anyway she should pay what you said it would be. good luck.
ava.joey (176.5 days ago) I`m with your husband. It`s 1.05 difference, why is she being such a crazy person?! It`s about principal at this point, how many people does she try to do this too? Ugh, what a headache for you :( But I wouldn`t give in.
angie08 (176.5 days ago) I wouldn`t cave either. I have sold and bought on eBay and I think it`s BS that someone would do that, but I`m sure that she`s not the only one. I would also block her from bidding on your items again. Good Luck!
avaann (176.5 days ago) dont cave. charge her. it`s an inconvenience to you. would she do this at a regular store? NO!
mimi2b2aboy (176.5 days ago) i agree with everyone else and i`m not an ebay virgin. charge her the 6.00 it may only be a dollar but its the purpose. if she doesn`t pay make a claim!
brendalee (176.5 days ago) Yeah you can ship it whenever you want. I always wait til they pay. Im just mad she had to wait til Thursday when she won the auction Sunday morning to message me asking if I`d lower it again since yesterday I hauled ass to the post office when my DH got home to get there and mail a few other ebay things before they closed.
CNCMOM (176.5 days ago) I don`t know anything about ebay but I just have to say some people are SO cheap. I wouldn`t have caved into her, if she wants the jeans bad enough she will pay the $6.00 shipping. :-)
brendalee (176.5 days ago) So, I was selling some things on ebay and this girl sent me a message asking if I`d give her $4.95 shipping for USPS flat rate for a pair of jeans. Idk if any of you have seen the flat rate $4.95 boxes...but they are TINY. My aunt sent me a 3 piece onsie set for Raelyn that she had to roll up and cram in there and even then the box was bulging. So I told her there was NO way they`d fit. She messages me back and says she thinks they will and still wants me to lower shipping so she can spend more on the bid itself, but if I want to keep it at $6.00 that`s fine. I message her back saying `yes, I`m keeping it at $6.00 because I know for a fact it won`t fit. The bid ends, I send her the invoice because she won and she sends a request for an updated invoice like 5 minutes later. So I just re-sent her invoice. This was on Sunday. At like, midnight lastnight/this morning she messages me and asks if I`m giving her $4.95 flat rate shipping!! I`m like `I told you the first time that I wouldn`t...the bid is the same price now as it was when you sent me the message, so you don`t need to save on shipping to bid more` and she messages back saying she wants me to try to get it to fit into the tiny tiny tiny 4 inch flat rate box. I was like whatever eff it and just told her I`d charge her $4.95 but wouldn`t be shipping it flat rate, just in a normal box. My husband said I shouldn`t have caved to her, and since she hasn`t paid yet (it`s like 11 AM by me) I should re-send an invoice with the $6.00 shipping on it and if she doesn`t pay that one to file a claim with ebay against her and just not send out the jeans. I`ve already gotten into claims with people on ebay and it`s a huge hassle and headache. And I really don't care about a few dollars, it's just that she was such a bitch about it to me. So should I just leave it, or do what my husband thinks I should do? Sorry this is so long lol
