annas-momma (871 days ago) I apologize if this is long, but these are a handful of songs that are on my daughter`s lullaby CD that I made when she was born:
My Wish by Rascal Flats, Dream Big by Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band, Over The Rainbow by Israel, Daughter by Loundon Wainwright, Little Wonders by Rob Thomas, Don`t Blink by Kenny Chesney, Let Them Be Little by Lonestar, In My Daughter`s Eyes by Martina McBride, Somebody`s Hero by Kelly O`Neal, and Ordinary Miracle by Sarah McLachlan. Hope you find one of these to work for you!! Good Luck!!
kickboxerbaby (871 days ago) Lullaby by Billy Joel, Wonderful world by Louis Armstrong, Baby love, I would definately look into a lot of the older songs. There`s a lot of good Nat king Cole songs. Also there`s a country song something about `I held her first` and there`s cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman. Sounds like your going to have your hands full. Have fun.
5against1 (871 days ago) i knew i loved u before i met you by savage garden?
jmcbrown2002 (871 days ago) Baby Mine by Alison Kraus is the one I used for my nieces..I contemplated Heaven by Live for my daughters, just cause I wanted something a lil more upbeat...But if you are going for slow and sentimental without being too sappy Baby Mine is a good one..check it out ;)
dlbailey (871 days ago) How about In my daughters Eyes by Martina Mc Bride?
Here are some lyrics from it:
An` when she wraps her hand around my finger,
Oh, it puts a smile in my heart.
Everything becomes a little clearer.
I realise what life is all about.
It`s hangin` on when your heart has had enough;
It`s givin` more when you feel like givin` up.
I`ve seen the light: it`s in my daughter`s eyes.
In my daughter`s eyes, I can see the future.
A reflection of who I am,
An` what will be.
An` though she`ll grow an`, some day, leave:
Maybe raise a family,
When I`m gone, I hope you`ll see,
How happy she made me,
For I`ll be there, in my daughter`s eyes.
