I have a sound machine and a fan going in my sons room. I had a fan in my others sons room untill he was about 4 years old.

In a pinch you can turn on a clock radio to a staticy a.m. station. We do this when we travel so that we don`t have to bring along our nature sounds machine.

My daughter is now 2 and she LOVES it... she puts it on the nature sounds. :) I love this toy!!

humidifier or one of those stand up fans that dont really blow but they clean the air. they still make the fan noise without the huge breeze. i forget what theyre called my mother has one.

We have an alarm clock that plays all sorts if nature sounds. I usually leave the sound on crickets chipping but I also love the ocean waves crashing.

We use an oscillating fan too. So what am doing now is I keep it non oscillating and facing the room instead of the bed/crib. The hum of the fan is still there without the cold air beating down on the baby.

They have sound machines that play nature noices like water running and the ocean and things like that...i want to get one for my daughters room
