larasmommy (868.2 days ago) I did cookies by design (everybody loves cookies and they are so pretty... I had a lot of adults at her party so I wanted something that anyone would like.
mdbabyno1 (868.3 days ago) We had her party at the lagoon(a man made beach with slides) and the theme was a luau. So for party favors I did sand buckets, shovels, arm floaties, rubber ducky animals, and little towels that I found for .87 cents. Everything could be used at the party so everyone loved them.
armymom (868.3 days ago) I`m about to start making party favors here shortly as well.. I`m putting 1-2 mini rubber duckies, party poppers, dum dum suckers, and some Monkey Munch (it`s a check mix party mix)
angie2008 (868.3 days ago) balloons are good, what about small stuffed animals that match the theme if you have one.
nutnut (868.4 days ago) depending on the age you can just not do goody bags. you could (depending how many kids and their ages) just get them coloring books at the dollar store and a pack of crayons. thats pretty much what i do just bc there will be plenty of sweets at the party and im not big on candy and neither are most of the mom`s nowadays. you could do the coloring books and crayons for the smaller children, stationary or something for older ones. gel pens are usually a big hit for girls between 6-12. boys are a bit harder. maybe a puzzle book or hot wheel car or something. if you really want to give candy you could just tape a lolly pop on the book or something like that or a single candy bar. i lean towards kit-kats or even fruit snacks, roll ups, animal crackers, or even chips. =)) theres so many things you could do. its basically just a little thankyou for coming to the birthday party. you dont have to go crazy if you dont want to.
t555rm (868.4 days ago) Oh LOL! I really haven`t done this before so I just thought that that is what we are expected to do. Like etiquette, courtesy? I was thinking along the lines of cute stationary like colorful pencils, erasers, stickers etc.
ibaheir2dathrone (868.4 days ago) I disagree. My kids LOVE getting goodie bags and arn`t snooty about the gifts inside. My son is nine and has always loved the little rubber snakes, lizards, dinos etc. (you can get them at the $1 stores) stickers, play-doh, yo-yo`s little candies like snickers, milkyways, sixlets and suckers. If there will be girls there don`t forget the rings and bracelets. Have fun!! :o)
amber325 (868.4 days ago) to be honest...no one really cares. (or at least mine did not) I had full size candy bars, mardi gra beads and cheesy sunglasses.
