christina76 (868 days ago) They have helped before.. It doesn`t hurt to try. Only takes a few minutes to file a report.
phooey (868.1 days ago) The BBB immediately helped solve a 5 month long dispute that I was having with blockbuster. I hate blockbuster btw!! :0)
california-mom (868.5 days ago) Only if they pay and are members of BBB. I just opened a case against a cleaning crew I hired. They arent members so the BBB will attempt to contact them twice by phone and once by mail and then thats it. Its a whole different story if theyre members though.
brendalee (868.6 days ago) Yeah when I went to the BB website it said they wern`t approved by them and the business rating was F for having so many complaints and zero positive comments.
KR (868.6 days ago) My mom has her own business and just last month she paid to be approved by the BB in order to be BB approved they go over many things (finances, are you a legit company, etc) its not something you can just list your company under. Once she was approved and her company was reviewed she got a special symbol that shes now allowed to put on her company cards, and website. Now if she has a complaint the customer can go to the BB and file a report. They DO look into complaints bc they have now stamped their name on that company and approved it and dont want to look bad approving people who do not have good business ethics. People who tend to pay to have their company listed with the BB are usually a good company who doesnt cute corners (doesn`t pay employees under the table, pays taxes, charges taxes, etc)
