i didnt like the height off the ground either. so what i ended up doing was just getting the toddler bed from my aunt who had a car bed and used that. my daughter loved her car bed such the little tomboy. now its in our back yard we made it into a sandbox bc she cried and cried when we wanted to throw it out. so making it into a sandbox was a good compromise. =) but yes, her crib was a three in one and i didnt like the toddler bed at all it was way too high off the ground for my liking.

I was told by the guy in Burlington Coat Factory that if I buy a 3 or 4 in one etc to make sure I find out if the crib is one of the stores best sellers or if it is going to go on clearence in the near future. The reaosn is sometimes if the bed does clear out the main company stops making them hence you should buy the bed rails for the extension for later years so you have them handy and will not have to go through places searching or trying to order them, if you still can.
