love.nora (865.5 days ago) I find it is cheaper and yet still healthy to give him lunch at school. Here lunch costs about 1.80 a day. i could not make a lunch for that price at home and have it be as healthy.
adriana03 (865.5 days ago) Thanks everyone im gonna try those ideas out. She is on the hot lunch program but i know that there are certain things she doesnt like, so on those days she eats home lunch. But im gonna buy a thermos immediatley. Never thought of it.
nutnut (865.5 days ago) my daughter wont take bagged lunches. she wants to be a hot luncher not a bagger. i dont argue even though the food at the school isnt exactly the best. but ill admit since shes been taking the hot lunch she has been trying alot more new things bc the other kids are eating it. she used to only eat pb and jelly, yogurt, bananna, and orange juice or bottled water every single day. at least now shes trying other things. maybe try her on hot lunch at school.
jenakers (865.6 days ago) Vegies like peas and green beans come in a small pop top can. I eat those for lunch. Bisquits and honey, cold fried chicken.
*Summer Babies* (865.6 days ago) my daughter like roll ups.. Take tortillas and use spread cream cheese and cut up fruit into them. You can even cut them into little Pin Wheels, also she likes dippers!! lol All it is is cut of fruits and veggies with some kind of dip,( dressing or Humus) I hope this helps!
heathert (865.6 days ago) Does she like soup? If so buy a thermos and put different things in it like mac n cheese.
My5Babies:) (865.6 days ago) I always pack either a banana or apple, cheese and crackers, or just a baggie of crackers, pudding, string cheese, and/or cookies or graham crackers.
