Mjamison (866.3 days ago) My son started to that.. I chopped it up two things... 1 came to a time that he wanted to feed himself.. finger foods but then also it was soft finger foods! Ended up he was teething and it hurt him to chew! And now being 17 months, he is doing it again becasue 1- he wants to feed himself now with the spoon and his k9`s just broke throuh!
JustTha5ofUs (866.3 days ago) my son is almost 8 months, some days he eats a jar of baby food, 1/2 in the morning 1/2 at donner, other days he doesnt want a spoon anywhere near him, he chokes on anything thats not smooth, butim rambling, i just wanted to say about scack time...... my baby is love love loving gerber graduates, cheese puffs, and is starting to like the tamoto flavored ones, they are not soft, but they are teaching him to smash the food with his gums, and 2 tiny teefers comin in. just a suggestion
sweetbabyboy (866.4 days ago) My son never went past the 4 month jars either, he would gag on the lumpy ones and then refuse them, then after a while he refused me feeding him from the spoon so I went straight to finger foods, he didn`t eat much at first but soon got the hang of it, good luck.
MummyLJ (866.4 days ago) I agree with Mommy2Chloe. Try finger foods- cheerios are an easy favorite with most kids, and if she sees you eating it, she might join in...
daydays mom (866.5 days ago) ive never had this prob with my daughter. but if i feed her with a spoon @ times she will spit it out and put it on her tray and then pick it up and feed herself so i try to find finger foods to please her....
