We use Enfamil Gentalease just because we received coupons in the mail and the gentalease part because it seemed like the regular stuff made her gassy. And my DD always accepted the formula, we never had to mix it with breastmilk and I was exclusively BFing when we tried formula for the first time :)

Enfamil or parents choice brand its at walmart. it is the almost same ingredients go ahead compare them but SO much cheaper.

Great thanks for your help. did anyone have a hard time getting their lo to accept formula? I know to start off mixing breastmilk with the formula to ease the transition, did that work for anyone?

i say try the walmart brand, it is the same as the other formulas. my daughter was a little older when we supplememted with formula so i used the step 2 formula for babies 9 months and up. I think once they have name brand formula and then try the generic it`s a hard transition but if they started with store brand they did just fine. It`s all really the same stuff anyways and is all regulated by the fda.

When I went back to work my milk supply went down so after a couple of months I started supplementing with Enfamil and my daughter transitioned just fine.
