muffin-in-the-oven (860.2 days ago) I am a weight watchers member my Mom suckered me into it and it was one of the best things I have ever done. I would tell anyone if they wanted to lose weight to join it changed my life. I weighed 205lbs (I`m 5`11) and now I weigh 172lbs the pounds say it all, to be honest it is very minimal working out too (for me at least). EditDelete
MichelleMc(pink!) (860.5 days ago) Mainly portion control. Take smaller portions of food than I normally would and try to eat it slowly. Skip snacks and desserts. EditDelete
andriette and christians mummy liz (861 days ago) Well i hate diets im starting to make lifestyle eating habit changes like tossing out the not so good foods and replacing them with good foods and snacks like veggies(which i despise) lotsa fruits fat free yogurt rice cakes in place of bread and if i do eat bread i only eat low gi white bread(cant stand seeded or brown bread) i was told by my pilates instructor and a very nice and motivated girl on this website that if ur kinda addicted to chocolates then replace them with hard sweets preferably low fat or virtualy fat free ones thats what i did from yesterday.I also try to drink lotsa water and 100% fruit juices(the ones without sugar and other additives) but i just cant seem to cut out my lovely cup of coffee.Im working out at the gym as of last wednesday and im loving the way it makes me feel, exepct being as stiff as hell haha.5against one said cut out eating out 100%,so true,my hubby said we could have pizza 2 nights ago and i got nauseous just thinking bout it and i was a take out freak, one thing im craving though is macdonalds.Im still new at this whole thing coz my metabolism pp was awesome if i wanted to lose weight id just cut out sweets for week and wala.Ive already lost give or take 1kilo(2lbs)from last week.If u want any advice id be happy to assist:-). brendalee (861.3 days ago) Haha...diet. I clean my apartment and hope it burns calories lol No...I just stop snacking during the day and at night. Having a baby def. messed up my metabolism. In high school if I wanted to lose 5 pounds I`d just have one soda a day instead of 2 or 3 and within a day or so I`d be down 5 pounds. Now I can`t lose extra weight for the life of me. EditDelete
nmck (861.3 days ago) Low calorie, healthy fats and healthy carbs. I have lost 35 pounds in the past couple of months. portion control is really important. Here is a sample day: Breakfast, 1c. cereal with 4 oz skim and 1/2 turkey sandwich with tsp mayo on whole grain bread. Snack, peach and nonfat yogurt. Lunch, 1.5 c soup with 1 oz shredded cheddar reduced fat, carrots with fat free ranch, and a pear. Snack, apple and 1 oz deli chicken. Dinner 1.5 c. whole grain/low carb pasta with 2oz diced chicken and tomato sauce, 2 veggies, 1 fruit. Snack, 2 no sugar added fat free fudgsicles. Small meals, all spread out so I eat 6 small meals and plenty of water! I also bought some small pyrex bowls that hold exactly 1 cup. Makes portion control nice and easy! EditDelete
5against1 (861.3 days ago) cut out eating out 100%. cut out all drinks except water(i drink tons of water). and then eat 6 small, healthy meals. each meal contains lots of greens. for protein, i eat very lean chicken, cooked on the george foreman, or hard boiled egg whites on my salad. as soon as i wake up, i have a fruit, because i need the sugar. then mid-morning i have my trader joes oats n flax oatmeal with another small fruit. typical lunch might be salad with crushed walnuts, pears, chicken w a little dressing spritzed on. typical dinner would be lean meat with sauteed veggies. a buy a variety so it never gets boring. plain popcorn or whole wheat pretzels for a snack. those 10 calorie sugar free jello cups are the best when you need a sweet snack.
