My grandmother`s name is Lidia. I personally love that name, but my partner doesn`t like the way it sounds in Spanish. Men.

Both are nice names ~ if you want a common name that many are using now go with Oliva if you want a name that is less common andmore unique go with Lydia :) Oh and my niece is Oliva and there is a Nik for it ~ Liv or Livy :)

my husband always jokes about lydia, like lydia dustbin, lydia pen etc, olivia is beautiful, my stepdaughter is imogen olivia

At fisrt I like Olivia....but there`s not really a nickname for it. I voted Lydia cuz you can call her Liddy if you want :)
