i was on the pill and got prego! definitely wouldn`t reccommend. I did use the nuva ring before and i liked that and you only deal with it once a week or was it once a month, either way it`s better than the pill. I `ve heard good things about the iud`s. but after i have this baby my dh is getting his vascectomy.

My husband and I decided that he would get a vesectomy unless I had to have a C section with this baby, then I would get my tubes tied.

I just got the `Mirena` today. It hurt less than a pap smear! I was shocked, the Dr was in and out of the room in like 5 minutes, it was great. I got the Depo shot before I left L&D just to be safe but I hate it so I opted for the IUD. My SO just found out yesterday that he has yet another hernia, so when he goes to get it fixed he`s going to have a vasectomy(He has 4 kids total) But my appointment was already scheduled so I went ahead and got the IUD just in case. But as soon as he gets his vasectomy, I will have my IUD taken out, why deal with it if I don`t have to? I`ve tried almost every birth control but the Nuva Ring so if you have any questions, message me and I`ll tell you what I know. Good luck!

My hubby is suppose to get a vasectomy, but I think he is having second thoughts. I have refused to get my tubes tied, too many risks. I def will not do the shot again, just didn`t like it. I thought about Mirena, but I did hear a few stories about having some issues with the implatation of it. So IDK at this point.

We have always used condoms as our method of BC and will probably be sticking to that.
