bellajenna (857.3 days ago) i say yes b/c by the weight my 3 yo should still b in an infant seat. make the logic choice b/c not every standard fits every kid
lori18 (857.4 days ago) it really drives me crazy to see that! if the child does not fit in the seat correctly it cant be safe! the next stage seats work with rear facing position. OMG sometimes I see kids in the seat they look like they are over 1 1/2 that makes no since!if you cant afford a new seat then find a charity that will donate one! JUST MY OPNION!

nmck (857.4 days ago) My son still has not met the weight limit on his infant seat, however he surpasses the length limit of 29 inches months ago so we bought him a convertible seat.
bethk (857.4 days ago) I put my LO in a forward facing carseat at 8/9mnths! She was so sturdy and her Health Visitor was ok with it plus her legs were going up the ack fo the seat and I had visions of being in a crash and her being squished in half! Best thing I ever done tho and she loved it. But she was v.strong and walking at 9.5mnths so evry baby is diferent
ilovemy2littleprinces (857.5 days ago) well i put my son in his infant seat when we shop he outgrew the weight limit but hes only 5 months and cant sit up by himself quite yet hes gettin there. i love hookin it right on the seat of the shopping cart it snaps right in place. i don`t think its dangerous
luvbeingamom (857.6 days ago) there are height AND weight limits on infant seats. However, it is the height of the head not as much as the legs. The head should have 1 to 1 and half inches from the top of the carseat. If they are to big for that seat it looses its effectiveness in an accident. They should be moved to a rear facing carseat that adjusts to the proper height and weight to the baby. With that said, i had a friend that use to use her infant seat for shopping (not in the car) b/c her daughter would sleep well in it either in the little stroller frame or shopping cart.
