TwinklinBrwnEyes`s poll Show results | Hide results

Baby-poll poll Teething:: Did your baby turn into a totally different baby (for the worse) when teething? My son did fine with bottom two, now he`s getting the two teeth next to the top front. (Upper lateral incisors)(sp?). Im not sure if this is his personality (extremely fussy, not happy with even being held) or the eye teeth coming in are making him act this way. What was yours and babies experience with teething, especially with upper lateral incisors.

My LO is getting her top four front teeth, and has already cut the top insisors and two bottom front teeth...she is a TERROR right now. She has days when she will go through three bids with all the drool, and is so crabby that NOTHING makes her happy! We`ve only found a few things that help, orajel, cold wash rags and tylenol at night....good luck, and I pray that mine goes back to the happy girl someday soon!

my daughter turned into a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CHILD!!! ARGH I was tearing my hair out I thought she had changed from a lovely, cuddly, smiley, happy baby into a little MONSTER!!! haha! I seriously thought, that`s it, she`s changed completely she`ll never be herself again! Then I realised she was teething! She was getting her back teeth which are the worst. She was slapping us, biting us, crying and bawling over 'nothing'. Her is twin brother now going through that phase; she was first! So don`t worry, I think it`s completely normal, and now that most of her teeth have cut through, she is WONDERFUL again; she`s giving kisses, she`s smiling, she`s laughing, she is my happy girl again! I`m sure that I`m about to go through the same thing with her twin bro now though! The joys of double-trouble!

my son was fine during teething.. only a couple times he cried and was really fussy for a couple hours, but nothing serious or continuous.

  1. OMG, I posted on FB (in reponse to a suggestion made to me on From Our House To Yours) that I didn`t like a business because the items were very expensive and my friend got a bad deal there and the owner is threatening to sue me! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I actually paid a consultation fee and my lawyer told me that she was `absurd with possible mental health problems.` I am protected by the fisrt ammendment to express my honest opinions freely where I choose, but he said she can take it to court(because people can TRY to sue over anything) anyway and that it might cost me legal bills. We will both be out a lot of money because she couldn`t possibly win. Can you believe that? FML! First my records and now this! I hope my baby isn`t a bad luck baby. I see people not recommending or recommending businesses all the time on FB!
  2. Is SaraKelly still on here? I know she was a mod but I didn`t see her post in the previous Who Is A Mod poll...
  3. ANGRY!!!! My jenakers account is missing my ENTIRE journal from my high risk pregnancy and my letthisonestick account for my 7 month old is completely gone along with my journal. I AM SICK OVER IT!
  4. I`ve re-thought the moderating of the member-postings. How does this sound? Let`s change it to usage, rather than length of time as a member. Say your first 10 or 20 polls, questions and pictures need to be approved by a Mod or something like that. Someone posting the racist polls and adding the kiddie porn is unlikely to participate as a normal member. Once you are verified as a regular member you`re no longer monitored.
  5. How long did it take you to get pregnant after you got your IUD (Mirena) out?
  6. Twilight valentines for 7 year olds... appropriate or not? DD received a valentine with a very... sultry smoldery Edward on the front and I was just kind of surprised that anyone would buy those for 7 year olds? I know I`m on the conservative side in general on those kinds of things, but this really surprised me!
  7. My daughter is almost 5 months and 3 weeks ago my hair started falling out. I know it`s normal but how long did it last for you?
  8. With all the issues going on with the site maybe we need an updated list on Mods. Obviously Laura is the one to go to but if there is a concern and it needs immediate attention and a Mod is online it may be good to know who is who so you can reach out to them. Mods, can you please post here so we know who you are. (Esp since some profiles names had to be changed because of recent log on issues)
  9. Anyone wanna try http://parentspuzzlepieces.spruz.com/ a free community site I just made? Let me know if you want the password and would want to help add things to it!!
  10. I think with all the posting issues IAP needs to appoint someone to verify all pictures, polls, questions, etc that are posted by new members. Sure, it`ll probably make things slower, but something needs to be done! Many websites have this installed and IAP needs it as well. Members that have been on the site for a certain time can be exempt, but if you are a new member, posts should be monitored. I`m going to copy this suggestoin to Laura and if you agree you should too!! :)
