I love that name! For a while after I read the book/saw the movie I did associate Damien with the devil but along the road I met so many Damiens, nice guys actually LOL, that the association just wore off. Now when I hear the name, the devil is the last thing that comes to mind. But I understand what ur saying. If it were me, I would go right ahead n name my son Damien. And as someone here said, I doubt by the time he starts school (when bullying usually starts) kids are gonna tease him about it. They probably won`t even know what The Omen was about.

hey hun i have to say i think it is a lovely name and goes with G`s , if you like it go for it, forget what people may associate it too, i wouldnt and as alot of others on here have said, it will only be adults who really know and they should know better xxxx

i must disagree with almost everyone and say that i dont associate the name with anything. To associate a name with evil is ridiculous and anyone silly enough to do so is just being crazy! How do you pass such a judgment on a precious baby just because of a movie or a name! If you like the name hun then use it! Most people wouldnt think twice about it and little kids are not going to know anything about a movie that existed before they were born! :)

It is a cute name but to be perfectly honest I have long associated it and Lucifer as well to the devil ect (I have never heard of The Omen). If you love the name use it for sure but don`t be surprised by some comments others will make.

I LOVE The Omen (and almost all horror movies). For that reason I love Damian, Regan and Gage. Pet Cemetary is a more current movie than The Omen and I don`t think people associate Gage with that movie to much....embrace it...Horror movies RULE and Damian is a great name.

Yes, unfortunately, I am not fond of that name just for that reason. I wouldn`t choose it.

My cousins son is what come`s to mind for me! Damian Rice...he is 19 months old...i had no idea that name was associated with THe Omen..but then again i don`t watch scary movies much these days!!! I think it`s a cute name:)
