Dh and I had sex at 10pm I just left the sperm in me and went to sleep by 1.30am my mucous plug fell out and 2 am the contractions started!! I don`t know if it really worked or if it was just coincidence but hey its worth a shot!! also my hubby likes telling people that he put me into labor lol!!!

oh yes, you can also google labor inducing accupressure points and try that out, or pay for accupuncture

bee2bee-so funny! Sperm does help with the softening, but what`s even better is sperm + orgasm, as that could jump start contractions. You could get some evening primrose oil gel tabs and insert vaginally (they`ll disolve) and also help with the softening. Get a heating pad or bag of HOT water and put it on your breasts. Nipple stimulation. (Night before I went into labor I sat on the couch with a bag of hot water on 1 breast and do nipple stimulation on the other, then switch) ummmmmmmmm, what else....this may sound totally stupid but I tried EVERYTHING @ 3 days overdue and went into labor that night so I don`t know if it was coincidence or not. Curb walking- find a curb and put 1 foot on top and 1 in the gutter... walk down the street like that and then turn around and switch feet. Looks and feels totally stupid, but hey, what can it hurt? I got on my hubbys lawn mower with the last pregnancy. Exactly one week from then I had my daughter
