natalie75 (846.4 days ago) There are about 4 parks about 5 min walking distance. We drive
nutnut (846.4 days ago) we have one in our community its not that great. not much there and its always got bees everywhere. so we drive to the one at the church near our house. its about a 5 minute drive. its got a creek and a `hiking trail` along with lots of slides, swing, seasaws, climbers, etc. theres so many other parks as well in our area.
nmck (846.4 days ago) We have a park literally 1/2 a block away, but we never use that one. It does not have much at it for my little one. So we drive to three parks regularly. They are within 3-5 miles. I was just told by a fellow mom about an amazing park that is about 5 miles from my house that was recently completed. Can`t wait for a sunny weekend to check it out!
LKLmama (846.6 days ago) about a block away there is a small park. We walk there.
MelissaJoanne (846.6 days ago) 10 blocks or so. We always walk.
hunnybunnysmama (846.6 days ago) our park is about a 10 minute walk - if we are out and about I`ll sometimes stop by in the car but normally I pull her to the park in her wagon! She just turned 2 and we don`t use her stroller much anymore.
megeanua (846.6 days ago) across town. It`s about a 10 min drive, but worth it. It has a lake with a walking track. The playgrounds look really nice, my son is still a baby but I can`t wait until he is older to take him to it. I think it is so neat how the `baby` playground is covered with a tent, so they don`t get sunburnt.
megandgrace (846.6 days ago) Ours is about 1/2 a mile, we walk there at least once a week, but now that its getting colder we will usually walk around the block or just play in our back yard with the toys and slides we have here. Now that there are leaves on the ground we don`t even need toys because all she wants to do it pick up and study the leaves or throw them around!
IvysMomma (846.6 days ago) the nearest park is about a 15 minute walk. We usually go to a nicer one though that is farther so we drive there.i should start walking more while i still can before it gets too cold.
hotpotaaaaato (846.7 days ago) 3 houses down the street. walk! We`re lucky to have 2 parks within walking distance, and an elementary school about 30 seconds walking away.
kohlsmommy (846.7 days ago) about a mile away. we would walk there every day, but when i started getting `more` pregnant, it got too hot. now that i`m so big, i think we`ll probably start driving.
BabyBsmomma (Joni) (846.7 days ago) ours is about 1 mile...we usually stroll there! nice exercise for mommy too! i relied on those daily walks during the summer- starting to get colder here now though
abbyquiet (846.7 days ago) there`s a park across the street from my house. we walk there, it takes like 15 seconds. it`s not that big or anything, but there`s a basket ball court, playground, volleyball court, and a bunch of grass to run around on. it`s nice. there`s a bunch of them around here.
