With my first we waited about 10 weeks (lots of complications after birth) my second was about 2 weeks. I would say I was moe scared than anything.

6 months.. DH was deployed so that obviously was my excuse. I think I would have waited just as long if he were here though because I was scared to death to do it.. I tore 3rd degree.

I didn`t tear at all during delivery and we tried after 3weeks PP. My nurse said it`s okay to start having sex again once you stop bleeding and feel comfortable :) But it was sore until I was about 8 weeks PP.

Haha 5 months? I was scared to death of having sex again. Had a 3rd degree episiotomy, and recovery was hellish. So in short, scared of sex+stress= no sex drive. Poor hubby! And when we finally got around to it, it hurt like doing it for the first time, I even spotted. And my husband was like `Are u sure they stitched u up like they should? Maybe the doc closed up yr vagina too`. LOL. But hey things are good now!

I FINALLY HAD MY FIRST NIGHT OF SEX IN 3 MONTHS LAST NIGHT! :D and it happened to be the day of my 6 week check up. i tore bad when i delivered so i was kinda scared but it wasn`t too bad once we got started. at first it felt like i was stitched too tight but my man said it felt the same. it felt like i was a virgin again lol and today i`m kinda sore but i would def. do it again :)

I ask because I have my check up next week (my son will be 6 weeks on Saturday) but my husband and I were dying to you know...haha so we did today. Anyways, I had 2 or 3 stitches after delivery but I felt great the entire time even right after I had him. I felt totally healed stitches and all at about 2 weeks. Everyone said it`d be super painful but it was just like always.
