I use the Medela In Style double pump and it works well. I got a Medela hand pump at the hospital and it takes FOREVER to get the same amount of milk out as the electric. With the electric, I tuck it into my bra and am able to work, so that`s another reason I like it better.

I loved Avent hand pump, portable and efficient (no having to plug it in, you can sit anywhere to do it), you pump it with your hand and I found I got the BEST results with this pump. I HATED Medela, because it didn`t feel as natural as the Avent handpump. I actually bought the Avent one as a last resort one day when I forgot my electric medela, and found it SO MUCH BETTER!!! I loved it. You attach it to an Avent bottle and express straight into the bottle. It felt much more natural, and you can choose the pace that works best for you. I found it quicker, and it got more milk for me! Also, a lot less noisy!

I have the Medela Pump in Style at home and use a Medela Lactina at work. Both are great. I`m fascinated by the Freestyle...or whatever the hands-free Medela is. Check that one out too!

I used the Medula pump in style for my last two pregnanices and loved it. It`s electric and you and pump both breast at the same time if you need too. It`s easy to travel with as well. I am going to be using it with this pregnancy too if the breast feeding doesn`t work out again. It was a bit pricey, but well worth the money for the use I gotten out of it so far.

I have a single Medela electric pump and a manual Medela pump. I much prefer the manual one. I think it works better. I rarely pump but when I do, I always go for the manual one first. The only time I use the electric one is when I can`t find the manual one!

i LOVED my Medela Double Breast Pump (pump in style). It was great, it was electric (always a huge bonus), easily packaged up, worked great while i was working. I have trouble pumping but it always allowed me to pump as much as my LO was eating with a bit of extra. I also have the avent hand pump and that was ok, but it was always difficult getting the milk ot let down and get a full bottle out, usually only got an oz or 2 from the hand pump. Though was/would have been perfect for the night out once a month or so.

I loved my Avent hand pump, i used it when i needed for the entire year. Electric ones scared me for some reason so i never tried one but next time i will.

I recently just bought the Medula pump in style breastpump. I breastfed my 1st for 6 months but it was all from the breast and I used a handpump on occasion. Didn`t have the extra money for a good pump. So I haven`t used it yet but I read alot of reviews before purchasing and Medula seems to be by far the favorite brand. My second choice would`ve been the Ameda Purely Yours. That one had high ratings too and it was cheaper.

  8. I`m at work and just went downstairs for a coffee, I certainly didn`t exert myself but when I got downstairs my head started pounding and it`s like my ears could only hear in waves, and my head felt full of pressure - not painful but a weird sensation. After about a minute everything seemed fine. Any idea what this may be? It felt more connected to my ears than anything else...?
  9. (I`m sure this probably varies, but...) How do daycares/childcare providers deal/handle food allergies? If you child is the one with the allergy do you pack their meals/snacks daily? 10. Going off the `bra` poll earlier, I went shopping for new bras the other day and other than a sports bra, do you think I could find anything that wasn`t padded? Is it just me or do other women prefer NOT to have padded bras?
