Not to be a downer, but I was prescribed this about 3 years ago and took it for a few weeks and ended up having a seizure because of it :( luckily I stopped taking it immediately and have never had any problems since. Oddly enough a girl whos hair I used to do ended up having the same reaction with it, only her situation was much worse and she had several seizures and wasnt able to drive for a very long time. I would ask about something else, there are sooo many options for depression out there and there have been soo many side affects associated with this medication that makes it not worth it to me. Alot of doctors wont even prescribe it anymore and there are several large lawsuits going on against the company itself. I am all for taking medication if you need it, but like I mentioned I would ask about other types of medication. Good luck.

I took it for depression, it helped. That was years ago. I was on it for about a year. My husband said it made me all zombied out, he said my eyes always looked glazed over. And ZERO sex drive. I also think it caused me to have anxiety now! It`s just scary to mess with your brain chemistry....

My husband was on it and it really helped him when taken regularly. If he skipped it some days, it wouldn`t work as well.
