My kids never used toddler beds. We had twin beds set up in thier rooms and although we would put them to bed in the toddler bed when I would go to check on them in the night they would be in the twin beds, so that was that. One was 13 months old when he got out of the crib and my other was 16 months.

I went right to a twin and it has never failed me. He only fell off 2 times.

I never used a toddler bed with either of my LOs, went from crib to bed at a wee over 2.

he was about 3 1/2 I needed the mattress for the crib.

I never used a toddler bed, I went from crib to bed. I used crib til age 3 then right to a bed with rail :)
