JCPenney. My daughter`s first year I got them done 5 times. Havn`t gotten them done since her 1 year pics (now she`s 2). Going to get them done soon though since we have a new baby now.

WE take my son to JcPenney. They have great coupon deals for $3.99 a sheet.

I love Target myself, they go through the same company as JCPenney but they have no sitting fees, which JCPenneys has. True there is a coupon for $3.99 a sheet and FREE sitting fees, but in fine print you`ll see it`s only for the first person. :( So if you have more than one kid or want family pics, it gets pricey. Target has been the cheapest we`ve found so far, and so far the staff seems good at their job, but that will obviously differ depending on where you go. At least with no sitting fees if you hate them all you can just not buy anything and leave. haha :)

We went to a place called `executive photography` in our hometown, its not a franchised company or anything, they just have one studio. They did an amazing job although they were quite pricey, it cost 65$ for the session fee and we bought one 8X10 gallery porttrait for 95$, they charged 75$ to edit/crop the photos, their cheapest pkg. was 190$ and included only 4 photos, so we payed 250$ for digital prints of all the pictures (on a cd) so we could have our own pictures printed, it was ridiculously expensive but definately worth it! We got some amazing photos of my LO her dad and I. They are portraits to hang over the mantle and what not, not ones you get done to hand out to people!

I used to go to kiddie kandids for their free b-day pics, and if they did an especially good job I would get a package, but now that they got rid of that....school photos and I always have my camera handy. :)

I take my own. What I take looks nicer than a `proffesional` and WAY cheaper.

We use a photographer every 6 months(getting them done next week!) and I also take her to the picture people because I always get great coupons. So I do that every 2 or 3 months. I love photos!
