luvbeingamom (836.9 days ago) The problem with the `recommended` age on a toy is that every child develops at different rates and do different things. Like my friends little girl was always very mouthy. So she couldn`t have toys with pieces. Neither of my boys are that way and i am not as concerned about pieces. I do watch to make sure, but both my 4 yr old and 2 yr old play with matchbox cars, the recommended age is 5 (i think). They also have duplos and legos. Lego`s recommended age starts at age 5. I think you have to judge the toy for the specific child, not based on the age on a package. Good Luck. EditDelete
ladykilla421 (837.5 days ago) I dont pay much attention to reccomended age for a toy. As long as I deem it safe and corresponds to the my LO`s current developmental level its good enough for me. EditDelete
