CAROLINABABY1 (836.5 days ago) Shoot! I`ve done it plenty of times. I took a week off because I didn`t feel like cooking or cleaning. Only thing I wanted to do was take care of my son and thats what I did. EditDelete
Austin::and::Alexs::Momma (836.7 days ago) yea, obviously this was just a rant! its not like a mother could actually go on strike! EditDelete
Str8 As (836.7 days ago) Yeah I went on strike, but I think I suffered more than he did. I could not stand all of the laundry, dishes and just the overall uncleanliness of it all. I think I lasted two days :-( however, I did get some results, but then again, it went right back to the way we were after a few days...what`s the point? EditDelete
my hands r full (836.8 days ago) Oh I so know how you feel.. when my SO acts like I dont do much or leaves his junk around and doesnt want to help(which hasnt been lately but we had that problem before) I just do my part and the kids part and leave his dishes and dirty clothes around lol... I leave it for him to do and deal with haha. Im sorry but I dont like feeling like maid. He is grown and able to pick up his own dishes or whatever it is he leaves around. EditDelete
christinarose (836.9 days ago) Yes, but at the end of it all, I`m still the one to clean everything up, so it just makes more work for me... EditDelete
blondie9504 (837 days ago) I go on strike all the time. Now that I`m back to work, it`s even worse because through the week I get absolutely nothing done because I work 10 hour shifts and then drive 3 hours on top of that! Usually I have to work OT on Fridays so I don`t get anything done till Saturday. It drives my insane to see dishes EVERYWHERE and clothes EVERYWHERE. He just strips wherever he sees fit when he comes home lol. He works 15+ hour days so I try not to say much to him but there are some days, I let him have it! I bitched because all he did yesterday was watch football. He couldn't even take time to feed the baby! I was trying to get caught up with dishes (my dishwasher is broke) and get the laundry done and cook dinner and yet I had to stop all of that so I could feed the baby. Needless to say, hes doing the laundry as we speak lol. That'll last for a couple of weeks and then it'll happen all over again lol! I don't mind cleaning but there just isn't enough hours in the day to get everything done. I still have outside work to get done too before it starts snowing. :) EditDelete
lovemybabies28 (837 days ago) last night me and my husband had an argument, i got dressed took my car keys and walked out of the house, but i dint go to far i was downstairs with my neighbors, i just coulnt do it i felt bad for my babies , but i know he deserves for me to just go on strike EditDelete
hunnybunnysmama (837 days ago) Oh yeah... going on strike would just create more work for me later. My husband doesn`t seem to notice if the house is clean or messy. EditDelete
3blessings (837 days ago) No, I have thought about it before, but the only one that would suffer is the kids. Because he`s such a stubborn ass, that the would just let something sit and sit...so for the sake of the kids having clean sippy cups and bottles, I just do them to save the hassle. EditDelete
Austin::and::Alexs::Momma (837 days ago) yea unfortunately I`d be more irritated by the filth & messes then his attitude...maybe I just won`t cook him any meals for the next week! haha! EditDelete
Austin::and::Alexs::Momma (837 days ago) I`m so angry with my husband right now that I would love to just not do a damn thing for the next week, just to show him how much I really do in a days time. He totally freaked out bc I asked him to help me clean up. He went into this rant about what I do in a days time compared to him. UGH! I`m so furious! EditDelete
mommyagain3 (837 days ago) yeah, but it doesnt do any good! The house gets worse off than if i just would have done it in the first place! MEN!!!! EditDelete
